Joovv: Amazing Red Light Therapy

What is a Joovv? Joovv is a red light therapy device. There are two sources of light: Red light and Near infrared light. Red light is absorbed by the surface of our tissues and cells and can lead to healing of the skin. Near infrared light is invisible to the human eye and penetrates deeper into our body for healing and decreased inflammation.

The Joovv is designed to:

Reduce inflammation

Support healthy skin

Help you sleep better

Support thyroid health

Decrease depression and seasonal affective disorder

Improve muscle recovery

The wavelengths used are clinically proven as safe. You can use it any time of day, and you stand about a foot away from the lights. Ideally you use it for 10-20 minutes on the area you want to treat.

See https://joovv.com/blogs/joovv-blog/how-does-red-light-therapy-work to learn more and watch a video on how the device and red light therapy work.

There are several different sizes and price ranges depending on your needs. We purchased the Solo in the boot. I just sit on my exercise ball when I want to do my torso and shoulders. It works fine, cost less than getting a bigger unit, and takes up less space.

Light is essential to good health. People today all too often don't get enough natural light. The Joovv helps support our innate need for light, without which we won't have optimal health. In the modern world we live in we get far too much blue light from all of our screens: computer, phone, television, etc. We biologically need red light to balance out the negative effects of too much blue light. Using a Joovv is a simple way to ensure we control the effects of blue light. Poor sleep from disruption of our circadian rhythms and weight management issues being two of the big concerns.

I find that when I Joovv 3-4 days a week for about 20 minutes I have more energy, my joints hurt less, and I sleep deeper. I love that it is natural, no pills and side effects to worry about. I highly recommend Joovv.
