Kombucha: Made in Hawaii
I like kombucha and I appreciate the health benefits it offers. But, our son LOVES kombucha! He would drink and entire bottle each and every day if allowed. I have to hide it from him or I'd never get any. Usually we split the bottle, I've never known a teenager to love kombucha so much. However he could care less about the health benefits, he just enjoys the taste.
I thought it would be fun to write a blog post about some different kombucha brands made in Hawaii. I hope you enjoy and try different brands and flavors when you are here. Personally I appreciate they are locally made and I love the tropical flavors available to chose from.
In no particular order:
Sky Kombucha: This was probably the first brand of kombucha I actually enjoyed. The flavors are amazing. I like the pitiya lilikoi, Strawberry mint, and Blueberry açaí. But they are all tasty.
Valley Isle: I love this brand. If you don't like the taste of kombuchas because it is quite tart this may be the brand to change your mind. The flavors are all mild and delicious. My favorites are Guava pineapple, Cherry hurricane, and Local lilikoi. You can't go wrong!
Vitalitea: I would prefer that my kombucha was in a bottle instead of a can. But, I can't say that prevents me from drinking this brand. I like the Restore and the Strawberry Sunrise flavor combinations. The Restore has a strong ginger kick, your tummy will thank you.
