The polish is non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty free. Made in Hawaii and 100% natural, that means no ingredients you can't pronounce. And, it is a woman owned business.

I don't paint my nails often. As a lifelong cook I wash my hands countless times a day. That and the fact that the majority of nail polish on the market is toxic I just figure why bother. Then I saw Kapa Nui Nails and thought I had to try it. I love supporting Hawaiian based companies that have created clean products.

I bought 3 colors and the starter set. The starter set comes with the clear coat (base & top), remover, pads, manicure sticks and a bag. One of the things I appreciate about this company is the vast array of colors. There are so many amazing colors, surely you'll find some you love. I tried a variety.

I love that is has zero smell, both the polish and the remover. I love the way it goes on, very smooth and dries quickly. I love the colors. The blue and light peach lasted about 5 days, the orchid only lasted 3 days (but I had used lots of hand sanitizer during those days as we were on the go). Removing the polish is a bit different than regular nail polish. It took a few tries to find my groove, but once found it is easy enough to remove it. The blue was a tad more difficult to get off.
