Hamakua Coast on the Big Island of Hawaii

Waipi'o Valley "The Valley of the Kings" is a sacred location in Hawaii. You can enjoy stunning views from the Lookout area or if you are adventurous take a hike or 4x4 ride down to the valley and pristine beach below.

On the road to Waipi'o Valley Lookout just before you get there is this fabulous fruit stand. Lilinoe Fruitstand offers a variety of fresh fruit, cold coconuts, and a delicious fresh fruit bowl. The bowl is comprised of whatever local fresh fruit they have that day all washed and sliced when you order. It was HUGE! The bowl was filled with dragonfruit, lychee, pineapple, orange, guava, papaya, and more. So nutrient dense and yummy.

This darling fruit stand is female owned, grown, and operated.

There were three geckos just hanging out at the fruit stand. What a life.

Honoka'a has been one of our favorite towns on the Big Island for two decades. It has an Old Hawaii charm that is hard to find today. Just a few blocks long there are several shops and some nice little spots to grab a bite.

Sea DandeLion Cafe is a super cute local, organic, vegetarian cafe. For such a small cafe the menu has a nice variety. https://www.menupix.com/menudirectory/menu.php?id=250927104
