Aloha baby

NTP

Over 15 years ago I wrote a full developmental curriculum for children from birth to five years old. Back in those days it was on CD and I sold it online and in homeschool conventions.

I closed the business down years ago but have decided to revamp it, well some of it. I firmly believe that there is much we can do to assist our children to be the best version of themselves - even as a baby.

We often think of babies as little creatures that just eat, sleep, and poop. But they are constantly learning and growing in their skills and knowledge. Taking just a few minutes each day to focus with intention on small activities can greatly increase a baby’s development.

Aloha Baby incorporates brain, physical, social, emotional, vocabulary, musical development - all of these areas will support a child’s future learning and abilities. In doing these activities you will easily be able to assess where your child fits in the milestones of baby’s.

Don’t worry if your child is a little behind in a few skills, it is highly likely that he/she is ahead in some as well. We all have a wide range of abilities and it changes each day. However, when doing this curriculum you will get a strong sense of what the developmental milestones are for a baby. When a child is behind in a skill you will want to repeat it periodically.

The new format is a downloadable ebook. Within this ebook there are hundreds of daily activities all organized by age with lists of necessary books, music, and supplies. Don’t worry, the items needed are basic and widely available. I don’t believe babies and children need technology. Let’s return to a slow life where we make time to play with our child, read to them daily, and live a simpler life.

The ebook is a perfect purchase or gift for women that are pregnant and it makes a fabulous baby shower gift. I hope you will check it out and share it with friends. You may wonder how Aloha Baby fits in with Aloha Healthy Eats. I think it blends beautifully. A full healthy life is about much more than food alone. We need to have strong life skills, physical abilities, language/art skills, and an interest in learning.
